- Bolt-on installation with no permanent modification to your machine: 6061 billet aluminum column clamp wraps the existing round column and locks with supplied hardware. Fully reversible installation preserves your equipment integrity.
- 6061 aluminum frame with PPG OSHA Safety Orange powder coat built for production: 30mm T-slot extrusion resists corrosion from cutting oils, coolant mist, and daily wear. Will not warp or degrade under continuous shop vibration.
- Lexan shield adjusts to any height and flips fully open for bit changes: 1/4 inch Lexan polycarbonate moves in, out, up, and down on slotted extrusion. Designed to clear the gear rack on most floor model drill presses. Round columns only.
- Backed by a 1-year warranty, and only the Lexan shield ever needs replacing: The 6061 aluminum frame is a one-time purchase built to outlast your drill press. Replacement shields stocked separately. For columns under 4.0 inches, see DPG-ES1.
